Remerge recommends clients employ Cyberduck, a user-friendly software they may utilize to browse and upload files to Remerge's Amazon S3 Bucket.
Cyberduck is a libre server and a cloud storage browser for Mac and Windows, supporting FTP, SFTP, Amazon S3, and many other servers. Upon its installation, clients may implement the Cyberduck platform to upload a plethora of Remerge-specific campaign data, such as feed, raw data, and user lists, to our Amazon S3 Bucket.
The following is a step-by-step guide to connecting to Remerge's Amazon S3 Bucket via Cyberduck. In case of any questions, please reach out to your Remerge Account Manager.
1. Download & Install Cyberduck
- Go to Cyberduck's official website, and scroll down to find the download icons for the various platforms.
- Click on the Download for macOS or Windows icon to view the requirements for each platform.
- Should your device not meet the requirements, click on Changelog, located above the Cyberduck download buttons.
- Scroll down to find a Cyberduck version compatible with your device.
- Click on the corresponding Download (Mac/Windows) icon located above the Cyberduck version to initiate its download.
- You have successfully installed the Cyberduck client on your device (no need for additional plugins).
2. Obtain Access
- Reach out to your Remerge Account Manager to obtain the login credentials to our Amazon S3 Bucket, as per the below example:
- Access Key ID: PLKR6XORH5XQRXYSLZ1B
- Path: remerge-customers/remerge-abcd12
- Secret Access Key: 23R52F5678NDFT4L44G23R52M9086NDUT4M44N
Please note:
- You will NOT be able to log in to our Amazon S3 Bucket without the above login credentials.
- Ensure to copy and paste the login credentials accurately, and refrain from leaving a space or adding any symbols before/after the credentials.
3. Connect to our Amazon S3 Bucket
- Go to your Desktop/Downloads folder, locate the Cyberduck application, and double-click on it.
- You should be able to view the below pop-up window. Click on the Open button located at the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
- You should find yourself on Cyberduck's homepage. Scroll down and click on the + sign, located at the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
- You should be able to view the below pop-up window. Go to the top field, and select Amazon S3 from the field's drop-down menu.
- The selection of the Amazon S3 Bucket will automatically be reflected in the Server and Port fields, as follows:
- Go to the Nickname field and enter your preferred name.
- Go to the Access Key ID field and accurately enter the information provided to you by your Remerge Account Manager (for more information, please review the Obtain Access step of this guide).
- Go to the Path field and accurately enter the information provided to you by your Remerge Account Manager (for more information, please review the Obtain Access step of this guide).
- You may leave the rest of the fields empty and click out of the window by clicking on the red X sign located in the upper left-hand corner of the page.
- Your newly created Amazon S3 Bucket should now appear in your Bookmarks. Double-click on your Bucket.
- You should be able to view the below pop-up window.
- Go to the Secret Access Key field and accurately enter the information provided to you by your Remerge Account Manager (for more information, please review the Obtain Access step of this guide).
- Upon completion, click on the Login button located at the bottom of the window.
- You have now successfully connected to our Amazon S3 Bucket. Go to the top of the page, find the Action functionality, and click on the wheel icon's arrow to open the drop-down menu.
- Click on the New Folder option.
- Go to the Enter the name for the new folder field and enter your preferred name.
- Select the corresponding location from the field's drop-down menu.
- Upon completion, click on the Create button located at the bottom of the window. You may now upload Remerge-specific files to your newly created folder.

The type of information that you may upload to your folder on our Amazon S3 Bucket is pending the functionalities you have selected and agreed upon with the Remerge Integration Team as part of your campaign setup.
