Remerge utilizes the Adjust Android and iOS click network tracker to achieve the following goals:
- Ensure the most optimal user experience.
- Notify Adjust of a user click driven by a Remerge ad.
Below is our guide to the generation of Android and iOS Network Trackers with Adjust to accommodate both the Retargeting and User Acquisition campaign strategies. In case of any questions, reach out to your Remerge Account Manager.
Please note:
- Unless stated otherwise, the below instructions apply to both campaigns (Retargeting/User Acquisition).
- Retargeting and User Acquisition campaign strategies utilize the same tracker, but windows for each campaign strategy are enabled separately.
1. Create your Remerge Network Tracker
- Log in to your Adjust account.
- Go to the upper left-hand corner of the Adjust dashboard and click on MENU (three bars) > Apps.
- Select your app.
- Click on the drop-down arrow.
- Go to SET UP YOUR APP > Tracker URLs.
- Scroll down and click on the NEW TRACKER button.
- Go to the TRACKER NAME field and name your Remerge network tracker (e.g., remerge_123).
- Go to the NETWORK field and select remerge from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the CUSTOMIZE button.
- Click on Additional Parameters.
- The following steps are optional:
- (Retargeting Campaign Strategy) - Add a URI Scheme in its corresponding field.
- Activate AD SPEND by toggling ON Tracking Ad Spend Data.
- (Retargeting Campaign Strategy) - Add a URI Scheme in its corresponding field.
- Click on the APPLY button located at the bottom of the page.
- Click on the CREATE button located at the bottom of the page.
- Take the following steps:
- Save a copy of your Remerge Network Tracker (to later provide to your Remerge Account Manager) by clicking on the Copy url function to the right of each network tracker.
- Click on the DONE button located at the bottom of the page.
- Save a copy of your Remerge Network Tracker (to later provide to your Remerge Account Manager) by clicking on the Copy url function to the right of each network tracker.
2. Retrieve Attribution Windows
- Go to All Settings > DATA MANAGEMENT > Trackers.
- Locate your newly created Remerge network tracker by typing it in the search bar.
- Click on the Wheel symbol located to the right of the network tracker.
- Click on the EDIT button located at the bottom of the page.
- Click on Attribution Settings > DEFAULT.
- Retargeting Campaign:
- Toggle ON CLICK-BASED REATTRIBUTION and IMPRESSION-BASED REATTRIBUTION.
- Select the time frame options that suit your campaign needs best and take screenshots of both reattribution windows.
- Click on the APPLY button located at the bottom of the page.
- User Acquisition Campaign:
- Toggle ON CLICK-BASED ATTRIBUTION and IMPRESSION-BASED ATTRIBUTION.
- Select the time frame options that suit your campaign needs best and take screenshots of both attribution windows.
- Click on the APPLY button located at the bottom of the page.
3. Share your Network Trackers & Windows with Remerge
- Upon completion of the above steps, provide your Remerge Account Manager with the below information:
- Network Trackers (created via the above instructions).
