The following document is our step-by-step guide to event forwarding from Branch to Remerge. In case of any questions, please reach out to your Remerge Account Manager.
1. Enable Integration
- Log in to your Branch account.
- Go to the upper left-hand corner of the Branch dashboard and click Ads > Partner Management.
- Go to Partner Management > Ad Partners window and locate Remerge by entering its name in the search field.
- Click the Remerge logo to open the Remerge partner configuration window.
2. Configure Event Forwarding
- Click the POSTBACK CONFIG tab.
In-App Event Forwarding
- To forward your in-app event postbacks to Remerge, tick the ENABLE and ALL EVENTS boxes to the left of each EVENT.

App Install and App Open events are automatically tracked via the Branch SDK. However, Custom Events (such as registration or purchase) are tracked ONLY once you integrate them into your app. To add app-specific postbacks for Custom Events:
- Click the Add New Postback button located at the bottom of the page.
- Select your event from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Save button located at the right-hand corner of the pop-up window.
- Click the Add New Postback button located at the bottom of the page.
Non-In-App Event Forwarding
- To forward an event that takes place OUTSIDE of your app (i.e., a BI event, such as an impression or click) append the &non_app_event=true parameter to the corresponding event postback:
- Go to the ACTIONS column. Click the three-doted box > Advanced Edit option.
- Append the &non_app_event=true parameter to your postback.
- Click the Save button located at the bottom of the page.
3. Confirm Setup
- Reach out to your Remerge Account Manager to confirm the arrival of events.
