The Recurring List Import method is a unique option that clients may utilize to provide Remerge with their Regularly Updated Data. For your convenience, we have gathered a list of cases in which you may employ Recurring List Imports:
- You wish to provide Remerge with a daily list of users for targeting.
- You wish to provide Remerge with a weekly list of segments for targeting.
- Creation of exclusion user lists (i.e., users you wish to refrain from targeting).
- Business Intelligence data are unavailable via in-app events (e.g., whale or churn users).
The Recurring List Import method is recurring and automatable via any of the following options: Amazon S3 Bucket, URL, Audience Builder (Adjust), or Audiences (AppsFlyer).
Ensure to share the following guidelines, file requirements, and examples with your Business Intelligence Team. In case of any questions on the method or adequate data volume, please reach out to your Remerge Account Manager.

Please note: If you are employing the services of a third-party data partner to generate the list, we suggest adding another folder to the path to indicate the selected partner. This step is beneficial in case of multiple partners or should a change of providers occur.
URL
You may provide Remerge with a URL that leads to a CSV file, representing a unique user segment.
1. Create your Importing User List
- Ensure your file meets the following prerequisites:
- Each file contains a unique segment of users per application (i.e., a user segment for an iOS application OR a user segment for an Android application). DO NOT mix various user segments in a file.
- Each file contains a CSV formatted list of device IDs per segment (no additional information is required).
- The file content is updated regularly with device IDs for the specific segment. Ensure to communicate the update frequency to your Remerge Account Manager.
2. Forward the URL Path to Remerge
- Ensure your URL meets the following prerequisites:
- The URL leads directly to the relevant file - The location of the file plays no role in the method's success and is thus subject to your preference. The URL, however, MUST lead directly to the specific file. Each time our system calls said URL, it pulls an updated CSV file of users.
- You have provided Remerge with the segment and application identification per URL.
- Remerge DOES NOT require a password or IP whitelisting to access the path. Should you need to include Remerge in your permit list, please reach out to your Remerge Account Manager to obtain our public IP address.
